Role Overview
- We are looking for a driven, self motivated Sales Executive to grow our customer base and drive revenue across the construction, power, marine, and oil & gas sectors.
- This is a primarily field based, outdoor role – you will spend most of your time on the road meeting clients, visiting project sites, and building relationships face to face.
Key Responsibilities
- Market research and lead generation – Identify and research potential customers across target industries, mapping out new business opportunities and growth markets.
- Customer visits – Travel regularly to meet prospective and existing clients at their offices and project sites, understanding their requirements first hand and representing Fastec as the face of the company.
- Generating inquiries – Engage customers to uncover their fastener needs and secure inquiries for both standard and custom made products.
- Preparing quotations – Translate customer requirements into accurate, competitive quotations, coordinating with internal teams on technical specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Production follow up – Stay in close contact with the production team throughout the manufacturing process to track order progress and keep customers informed of timelines.
- Payment tracking – Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments and healthy account balances.
