Role Overview
The Sales Executive will develop new business opportunities, acquire customers, build a sales pipeline, and manage customer accounts.
The role covers freight forwarding and logistics services.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business through cold calling, networking, market research, and customer visits.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Understand customer logistics requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Promote air freight, ocean freight, customs brokerage, road transport, and contract logistics solutions.
- Work with Pricing and Operations teams on competitive quotations and RFQs.
- Conduct customer meetings and sales presentations.
- Acquire customers and develop long-term business relationships.
- Support onboarding and implementation of new customers.
- Maintain communication with existing customers.
- Identify cross-selling and business growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or international logistics.
- Proven experience achieving sales targets and developing new business.
- Good knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, FCL/LCL, and road transport.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
