Overview

  • We are seeking a high energy, Sales Executive with a technical foundation in Food Technology to drive growth and expand our market presence.
  • This role is perfect for a professional who can bridge the gap between technical product knowledge and commercial success.
  • The ideal candidate will leverage their scientific understanding of food components to provide value driven solutions to our clients, ensuring consistent revenue growth and long term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and acquire new B2B clients within the food manufacturing, FMCG, and hospitality sectors.
  • Technical Consulting: Act as a technical resource for clients, explaining the functionality and benefits of our food ingredients/products based on food science principles.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation and cold calling to negotiation and closing deals.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on local food industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
  • Account Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure high retention rates and upselling opportunities.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular sales forecasts, budget reports, and activity updates using MS Office suite.
  • Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales KPIs as set by the management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in the food industry, FMCG, or food ingredients.
  • Licensing: Must possess a valid Driving License (essential for client visits).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic CRM knowledge.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
