Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their travel needs and recommend suitable packages and itineraries
- Generate and qualify leads, conduct sales calls and in person meetings
- Prepare proposals and quotations, and follow up to close sales
- Maintain accurate records in CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless trip execution
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Represent The Road Tales at events or client meetings
- Gather feedback to enhance offerings and support marketing activities
Requirements
- Proven sales skills including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing
- Strong customer service and relationship building skills, ideally in travel or hospitality
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English
- Basic proficiency with CRM software, email tools, and office applications
- Ability to work toward targets and manage time effectively
- Enthusiasm for travel and tourism, with knowledge of popular destinations and trends
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Willingness to work on site in Kochi and occasionally outside standard business hours

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Sales Executive role based in Kochi.
- Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their travel needs and recommend suitable packages and itineraries.
- Generate and qualify leads, conduct sales calls and in person meetings, prepare proposals and quotations, and follow up to close sales.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM tools, collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless trip execution, and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Represent The Road Tales at events or client meetings, gather feedback to enhance offerings, and support marketing activities that drive customer acquisition.
Qualifications
- Proven sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, negotiation, and closing.
- Strong customer service, relationship building, and client advisory skills, ideally in travel or hospitality.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Basic proficiency with CRM software, email tools, and office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work toward targets, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Enthusiasm for travel, tourism, and experiential journeys, with knowledge of popular destinations and trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Willingness to work on site in Kochi and occasionally outside standard business hours, depending on client needs and peak seasons.
