Job Summary
Emerald Steel Industries is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Engineer in the steel and fabrication industry.
The role generates business, develops customer relationships, prepares quotations, follows up on inquiries, and achieves sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities, generate inquiries, and secure orders from contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Visit customers and project sites to understand technical and commercial requirements.
- Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Coordinate with estimation, engineering, production, and procurement teams on quotations.
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on technical and commercial quotations and negotiate orders.
- Maintain customer relationships, monitor markets and competitors, and track upcoming projects.
- Coordinate project requirements, delivery schedules, technical clarifications, sales reporting, and payment follow-up.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in steel, structural steel, metal fabrication, construction, or engineering.
- Good technical knowledge of steel fabrication, engineering drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
