Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Sales Engineer or Senior Sales Engineer to handle sales, client development, technical discussions, negotiations, and commercial coordination for projects.
The role is based in Sharjah, UAE, and supports opportunities from enquiry stage until project award.
Key Requirements
- Experience in structural steel, steel structures, tensile structures, shades, fabrication, or construction projects is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with major projects, contractors, consultants, developers, and government or semi-government clients is advantageous.
- Good understanding of Dubai and Abu Dhabi authority requirements and construction standards.
- Strong technical and commercial understanding.
- Ability to understand drawings, specifications, BOQs, RFQs, quotations, and project requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities, follow up professionally, and convert enquiries into profitable projects.
- UAE driving licence is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business and attend client meetings and site visits.
- Prepare and coordinate quotations.
