We’re Hiring: Sales Engineer / Business Development Executive – Protective Coati

  • PetroCoat is looking for a motivated and target driven Sales Engineer / Business Development Executive to support the growth of our Protective and Marine Coatings Solutions business in Qatar.
  • The role involves promoting industrial coating solutions, developing new customers, managing existing accounts, preparing proposals, and coordinating with technical and operations teams to support project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities with contractors, applicators, consultants, owners, and industrial clients.
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
  • Promote protective coatings, surface preparation, and corrosion protection solutions.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical commercial submissions.
  • Support product approvals, pre qualification, sampling, and project follow ups.
  • Visit customers and project sites regularly.
  • Coordinate with technical/operations teams for coating system selection and site support.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and support collection follow up.
  • Maintain customer data, enquiries, opportunities, and follow ups in CRM.
  • Track market updates, competitor activity, and upcoming project opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B technical sales / business development.
  • Experience in protective coatings, paints, corrosion protection, or industrial products preferred.
  • NACE / BGAS or equivalent certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
