Sales Engineer – Process Automation (UAE & Iraq)

Overview

Requirements

• Dynamic and self-motivated Sales Engineer with proven solution sales experience in Oil & Gas instrumentation.
• Strong technical knowledge in one or more of the following:
• o Control Systems (DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, PLDS, HIPPS)

O Fiscal And Custody Transfer Metering Skids

• o Gas Analyzers
• Established relationships with End Users, EPC contractors, and Packagers in UAE and Iraq.
• Prior experience working with EPCs involved in Iraq projects is essential.
• Willingness to travel extensively (approx. 75% travel).
• UAE Driving License is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in the Oil & Gas sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Report to Operational Director (Direct) and Business Director (Functional).
• Analyze market potential, develop sales forecasts, and achieve assigned targets.
• Manage sales activities across UAE & Iraq, with scope to expand into new territories.
• Secure company approvals and pre-qualifications with major Oil & Gas clients.
• Drive business development through client visits, presentations, seminars, and exhibitions.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from opportunity identification to closure.
• Track major Oil & Gas and petrochemical projects for early engagement with EPCs and end users.
• Lead technical and commercial negotiations while ensuring profitability and timely payments.
• Coordinate with internal teams for proposal preparation and bid management.
• Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback.
• Prepare sales reports and participate in periodic review meetings.
