Sales Engineer

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with mine owners/operators, EPC/EPCM contractors, engineering houses and consultants.
• Identify and qualify capital equipment opportunities early by networking and understanding customer projects, business drivers, procurement strategies and equipment requirements.
• Act as the primary sales and commercial contact, coordinating internal technical teams to develop customer-focused solutions and proposals.
• Lead the end-to-end tender and sales process, including enquiry qualification, bid strategy, proposals, presentations, clarifications, negotiations and contract award.
• Review customer specifications, drawings, data sheets and commercial conditions to identify scope, risks, exclusions and opportunities, while positioning the Company’s equipment and solutions effectively.
• Develop pricing, sales estimates, margin recommendations, value propositions and win strategies, coordinating input from Engineering, Process, Projects, Procurement and external suppliers.
• Build and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, monitor market and competitor activity, identify new business, repeat sales and cross-selling opportunities, and maintain accurate CRM/SharePoint records.
• Achieve agreed sales, margin and business development targets while supporting contract finalisation, risk reviews and structured handover to project execution teams.
