Role overview
TP-Link is building a nationwide U.S. sales organization for its Omada Networks portfolio.
The Sales Engineer serves as a trusted technical advisor and partners with Regional Sales Managers to design solutions, shape strategy, and win customers.
The role supports MSP, MDU, hospitality, retail, enterprise, and SLED verticals.
Key responsibilities
- Represent wired, wireless, cloud management, security, surveillance, and automation or telemetry solutions.
- Own discovery, architecture, RF planning, predictive heatmaps, BOMs, proposals, demos, POCs, competitive evaluations, and TCO or ROI positioning.
- Design secure networking solutions involving routing, switching, QoS, segmentation, and WLAN security.
- Build channel and customer relationships and deliver technical enablement and training.
- Troubleshoot complex evaluation and pilot issues and drive technical wins to close.
- Create playbooks, whitepapers, webinars, and presentations for industry and partner events.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering on customer requirements and roadmap influence.
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of customer-facing pre-sales engineering or equivalent design and architecture experience.
