The Opportunity

Radware is seeking a UK-based Sales Engineer with a security and cloud background.

The role leads technical sales activities, manages customer technical relationships, and architects solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales Account Managers to formulate account strategies using established sales tools and methodologies.
  • Drive revenue and sales opportunities through the pre-sales technical process and technology advocacy.
  • Design solutions from the Radware product and service portfolio.
  • Educate customers and partners through meetings, site visits, presentations, evaluations, proposals, and objection handling.
  • Oversee customer proposal development, design, and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and internal teams on customer updates, upgrades, and solutions.
  • Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs with detailed technical solutions.
  • Manage product demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Track account activity and comply with pre-sales reporting processes.

What You Need

  • At least 5 years of experience in network and application security, pre-sales engineering, or database and web application solutions.
  • At least 3 years as a Sales Engineer for a security vendor or reseller is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of on-premises or cloud-based networking and security architectures.
  • Knowledge of web applications, databases, security, and auditing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, HTTP, load balancing, reverse proxies, caching, CDN, compression, firewalls, and DDoS.
  • Good knowledge of application security, API security, and bot management.
  • Knowledge of public cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Vendor knowledge of listed security and application delivery products is preferred.
  • A BSc in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
