Role Description

  • The Sales Engineer is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • Involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, preparing and delivering technical sales presentations, and recommending acoustic solutions aligned with client requirements and project specifications.
  • Collaborates with design, engineering, and project teams to develop proposals, quotations, and tender responses.
  • Day to day tasks include responding to client inquiries, providing pre and post sales technical support, conducting site visits, and maintaining relationships with consultants, contractors, and end users.
  • Also requires maintaining an up to date understanding of ZAcoustics’ product portfolio, market trends, and relevant standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong Sales skills, including solution selling and ability to translate acoustic requirements into practical technical offerings.
  • Solid Sales and Customer Service skills to manage pipelines, negotiate contracts, and deliver a positive client experience.
  • Excellent Communication skills for preparing proposals, presenting technical information clearly, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Technical Support capabilities, including troubleshooting, product application guidance, and on site technical assistance.
  • Relevant academic background in Engineering, Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience in acoustics, construction, MEP, or building materials sales is highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
  • Proficiency in common office and presentation software; familiarity with acoustic measurement tools and standards is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and travel locally for client meetings and site visits as required.
