Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Sales Engineer or Senior Sales Engineer for sales, client development, technical discussions, negotiations, and commercial coordination.
The role supports construction-related projects from enquiry stage through award.
Key Requirements
- Experience in structural steel, steel structures, tensile structures, shades, fabrication, or construction projects is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with major projects, contractors, consultants, developers, and government or semi-government clients is advantageous.
- Good understanding of Dubai and Abu Dhabi authority requirements and construction standards.
- Strong knowledge from both technical and commercial perspectives.
- Ability to understand drawings, specifications, BOQs, RFQs, quotations, and project requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
- A UAE driving licence is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business and identify opportunities.
- Attend client meetings and site visits.
- Prepare and coordinate quotations.
- Negotiate commercial terms.
- Follow up tenders and enquiries.
- Support projects from enquiry stage until award.
Compensation
- Pay starts from AED 3,500 per month.
- Competitive compensation is based on experience and capability.
- Performance-based incentives may be offered.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
