Role Overview
Generate solar business by understanding customer requirements, conducting technical discussions and site assessments, preparing suitable solar solutions, and converting leads into orders.
The role combines technical knowledge, sales skills, customer relationship management, and commercial understanding.
Lead Generation and Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in residential, commercial, industrial, and other solar segments.
- Generate leads through direct visits, references, dealer networks, enquiries, digital platforms, and market activities.
- Conduct customer meetings and understand electricity consumption, requirements, budget, and expectations.
- Present suitable solar solutions and explain technical and financial benefits.
- Follow up with prospective customers and convert qualified leads into orders.
- Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.
Technical Consultation
- Understand electricity bills, load requirements, sanctioned load, and consumption patterns.
- Recommend suitable solar system capacity and configuration.
- Explain solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, batteries, protection systems, and other components.
- Provide technical clarification on system performance, generation, savings, warranty, and maintenance.
