What We're Looking For

  • Zebra Technologies is seeking a strategic, results driven Sales Director to lead our Middle East operations.
  • This Sales Management role is based in Dubai, with direct responsibility for Sales Managers and wider sales teams across the region (including UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar).
  • You will act as a strategic leader, driving go to market and operational improvements that deliver measurable results.
  • Note: This role is focused purely on the Middle East and GCC. You will be based in Dubai.

Responsibilities

  • Own major business outcomes (revenue, margins, expenses). Lead high impact initiatives, define sales plans, manage budgets, and delegate execution to Sales Managers.
  • Apply deep product and market expertise to drive long term growth. Help customers develop innovative solutions and actively transfer this knowledge to your team.
  • Solve complex, multi regional challenges. Proactively anticipate issues, create innovative solutions, and shape policies impacting operations across the region.
  • Lead engagement with C suite and director level stakeholders to shape strategic relationships and customer interaction models.
  • Lead and coach a team of 7 direct reports. Deliver results aligned with Zebra’s policies.
  • Regular travel (up to 75%) to meet with key stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10 years of experience in senior sales management, with a demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding direct sales quotas aligned to regional territory goals.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise technology landscapes and competitive positioning.
  • Proven ability to engage, negotiate with, and influence senior customer stakeholders (C suite and director level) to shape strategic relationships and close complex deals.
  • Recognised as a strong coach and mentor with 5 years of experience managing 2nd level sales teams (including Sales Managers) and enabling them to achieve commercial success.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, with a track record of successfully managing sizable budgets, expenses, and margins across diverse regional markets.

Incentive Compensation

  • In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role an opportunity to earn variable compensation in the form of commission for achieving quota, at 67%, in accordance with the terms of the applicable sales incentive plan.
