Role Overview
The Sales Development Representative reports to the Manager, Sales Development and supports the Sales team.
The role identifies new business opportunities, engages prospective clients, builds qualified pipeline, and supports acquisition of new hiring managers and client accounts.
The role focuses on proactive outreach, market research, relationship-building, and collaboration with Sales and Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and engage prospective clients through outbound prospecting.
- Build relationships with hiring managers, decision-makers, existing clients, and new organizations.
- Use phone, email, social selling, networking, and lead intelligence tools to create sales opportunities.
- Nurture prospects through the early buyer journey by understanding challenges and providing relevant information.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to generate actionable insights.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track pipeline activity, and support lead handoffs and reporting.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on continuous process improvement.
