Role overview
Geotab is seeking a Sales Development Representative to develop sales activity within assigned segments and channels through outbound prospecting.
The role presents Geotab solutions to existing and prospective clients and contributes to new business and revenue growth.
What you'll do
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and other proactive outreach.
- Work with Partner Account Managers, Business Development Managers, Sales Managers, and external partners and customers.
- Qualify prospects using BANT criteria and schedule qualified appointments for Business Development Managers.
- Maintain knowledge of Geotab offerings, marketplace products, technology platforms, fleet applications, and industry trends.
- Create outbound messaging with tools such as Salesloft and support trade shows and strategic initiatives.
What you'll bring
- 2–3 years of technical sales experience with outbound outreach using Salesloft, Outreach, or similar tools.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in business, commerce, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
- Strong technical and business aptitude with the ability to translate software and hardware solutions into customer value.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Google Suite for business.
