  • Our platform combines immersive digital experiences, AI powered engagement, exhibitor discovery, lead generation and intelligent matchmaking.
  • We are looking for an experienced and highly driven Sales Development Representative to build our outbound pipeline and book qualified meetings with exhibition organizers and event industry decision makers.

The Role

  • Researching exhibition organizers and target accounts.
  • Finding the correct decision makers.
  • Making cold calls.
  • Sending personalized emails and LinkedIn messages.
  • Following up repeatedly.
  • Qualifying prospects.
  • Booking meetings and product demonstrations.
  • Keeping the CRM accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities

  • Build targeted prospect lists of exhibition organizers, event companies, venues and associations.
  • Identify exhibition directors, event directors, portfolio directors, marketing directors and commercial decision makers.
  • Make a high volume of outbound calls every working day.
  • Run outbound email and LinkedIn prospecting campaigns.
  • Research accounts before contacting them.
  • Deliver a clear and confident introduction to AetherEx.
  • Qualify prospects based on their needs, authority, timing and commercial potential.
  • Book qualified discovery calls and product demonstrations.
  • Follow up with prospects until a clear outcome is reached.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM.
  • Track calls, messages, responses, meetings and opportunities.
  • Work closely with the founder on messaging, targeting and sales strategy.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in outbound B2B sales, sales development or business development.
  • Previous sales experience in at least one of the following industries: MarTech, Event technology, Exhibitions and conferences, B2B SaaS.
  • Proven experience with cold calling and outbound prospecting.
  • Comfortable making calls throughout the day.
  • Strong spoken and written English.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with senior decision makers.
  • Experience using CRM and sales prospecting tools.
  • Strong research and lead generation skills.
  • Persistent and disciplined approach to follow up.
  • Comfortable working with targets and being measured on results.
  • Able to work independently without waiting for inbound leads.

Strong Advantages

  • Existing experience selling to exhibition organizers or event companies.
  • Knowledge of the North America, EU and GCC exhibitions market.
  • Experience selling event platforms, CRM, marketing automation, lead generation or engagement software.
  • Existing relationships within the exhibitions and events industry.
  • Experience using tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar platforms.
