Role Overview
- We are seeking a motivated and proactive Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our expansion into the UAE market.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Research and identify potential SME clients involved in international trade who could benefit from Verto’s payment and FX solutions.
- Initiate contact with prospects via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to introduce Verto’s services and qualify interest.
- Work closely with Account Executives and the wider sales team to book qualified meetings and ensure a smooth handoff of prospects.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of prospect interactions and lead status in the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, customer pain points, and competitor offerings to refine outreach strategies.
- Share insights and collaborate with marketing and sales colleagues to improve messaging and campaign effectiveness.
What You Need
- 1–2 years of experience in a B2B sales, lead generation, or business development role—ideally within fintech, financial services, or SaaS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining energy and professionalism.
- Familiarity with or interest in UAE business practices and customs is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow up effectively, and prioritize in a fast paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
