Job Summary
The Sales Coordinator handles customer enquiries and queries, multitasks effectively, and assists the sales team in achieving monthly goals.
The role acts as a liaison between the company and customers while supporting sales growth, relationship development, and customer service.
Sales and Customer Duties
- Research and develop new markets, improve sales, and increase the value of current customers.
- Develop new customer relationships, recommend solutions, and maintain customer support and guidance.
- Attend conferences, meetings, industry events, and trade meetings.
- Prepare and coordinate client quotes and proposals.
- Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements and follow up on quotations.
- Identify prospective customers through directories, existing-client leads, trade shows, and conferences.
- Maintain master customer lists and classify customers by size, orders, and industry.
- Research and contact new customers in the UAE and outside the UAE.
- Answer questions about products, prices, availability, and credit terms.
- Discuss customer needs, explain product features, and prepare presentations or proposals.
- Complete expense reports, sales reports, and other paperwork.
- Verify delivery schedules, credit ratings, and materials lists, and consult engineers on technical product problems.
