Role Description

  • The Sales Business Development Manager is a part time, hybrid role based in Jiddah, with flexibility for some work from home arrangements.
  • This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities in construction, civil works, and electrical projects, as well as promoting equipment and vehicle hire services.

Day to day Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and engaging potential clients.
  • Managing relationships with existing clients.
  • Preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiating contracts in line with company guidelines.
  • Coordinating closely with project and operations teams to understand service capabilities.
  • Tracking market trends and competitors.
  • Maintaining accurate sales pipelines and reports.
  • Representing GCL professionally and upholding the company’s commitment to quality.
  • Contributing to sustainable revenue growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management.
  • Experience in the construction, civil engineering, or related industries.
  • Proficiency in negotiation, proposal development, and contract management.
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and identify strategic opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid organizational and time management abilities.
  • Comfort working in a hybrid environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethical business practices and high quality client service.
