Role Description
This is a part-time, hybrid Sales Business Development role based in Abu Dhabi, with flexibility for some work from home.
The role focuses on identifying and qualifying opportunities, building partner relationships, and supporting expansion into target markets.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential partners.
- Conduct market research on relevant technology sectors and develop data-driven insights.
- Generate and nurture leads and prepare outreach materials.
- Coordinate meetings and follow-ups with prospective clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM or tracking tools.
- Support sales presentations and proposals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align business development activity with investment priorities and strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills and market research capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement, presentations, negotiations, and relationship building.
- Effective lead generation and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with CRM tools and productivity software.
- Demonstrated interest in innovation and national-interest-aligned technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant experience in sales, business development, venture capital, private equity, or technology is beneficial.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI, advanced computing, or defense technology is beneficial.
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Workplace
- The role is hybrid, with flexibility for some work from home, and is based in Abu Dhabi.
