Role Description
- This full time, on site Sales Associate or Senior Sales Associate role is based in Dubai and focuses on providing outstanding customer service to travellers.
- The role involves welcoming customers, identifying their needs, and offering suitable products and services across various retail categories while consistently meeting sales targets.
Daily Responsibilities
- Operating the point of sale system, handling cash and card transactions accurately.
- Maintaining visual merchandising standards to ensure an appealing store presentation.
- Supporting inventory management by replenishing stock, monitoring product levels, and participating in regular stock checks.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Participating in promotional activities.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive, efficient, and service oriented store environment.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and sales abilities, with a proven track record of engaging with diverse customers and achieving sales objectives.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen, explain product features clearly, and build rapport with travellers.
- Basic retail operations skills, such as point of sale handling, cash management, and attention to detail in transactions and stock handling.
- Ability to maintain store presentation, follow visual merchandising guidelines, and support promotional and marketing activities in store.
- Previous experience in retail, or customer facing roles; experience in travel retail or airport environments is an advantage.
- Fluency in Russian and English; knowledge of additional languages commonly spoken by travellers in Dubai is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in retail, sales, or customer service are beneficial.
