Role Overview
Provide customer service while supporting store operations and sales goals.
The role is part time and includes regular store-based optical retail work.
Sundays are closed at the stores.
Responsibilities
- Help customers select eyewear based on lifestyle, prescription, and budget.
- Dispense eyeglasses and contact lenses and provide lens training as permitted by state law.
- Educate customers on eyewear and contact lens care.
- Maintain customer and patient records and communicate order status.
- Answer incoming phone calls and maintain a clean, organized store.
- Support visual merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention procedures.
Experience and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least one year of retail or customer service experience is preferred.
- Applicants should be skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced work environment.
- Certain duties may require state-specific licenses or credentials.
