Role Overview
The role is a target-oriented sales position in the building materials industry.
The successful candidate will develop customers, promote products, manage relationships, and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Promote and sell building materials and related products.
- Maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, companies, and existing customers.
- Visit customers and project sites when required.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on inquiries and leads.
- Negotiate prices and close sales.
- Achieve monthly sales targets.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Follow up on payments and outstanding accounts when required.
- Prepare regular sales reports for management.
Requirements
- Previous sales or business development experience.
- Building materials sales experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of construction materials or products is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-service skills.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented approach.
- Ability to develop new business and maintain customer relationships.
