SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (Canada)

We’re searching for a hungry, aggressive Account Executive who loves closing deals.

We need a killer closer.

You’ll work with a high-energy remote team closing fast-paced, short-cycle digital marketing deals with SMBs.

This is a high-volume, high-pressure sales environment where your ability to push for the close and win deals directly impacts your earning potential.

In collaboration with the Sales team and all departments, the Account Executive is responsible for the success of Wishpond Technologies Ltd.

• Prospect and close deals with SMB marketing decision makers. Your primary focus is on moving deals through the pipeline and getting signatures fast.
• Master the complete sales cycle from discovery to demo to close, with an emphasis on pushing hard through objections and sealing the deal.
• Meeting and exceeding your quota consistently by closing deals with speed and confidence.
• Connect authentically with customers; your personality and ability to build instant rapport are just as important as your closing skills
• Keep your finger on the pulse of our product offerings and use them strategically to win deals
• Be a brand representative who sells with confidence and authenticity
• Working collaboratively with account management to ensure the successful onboarding of new customers
• Weekly accountability for reporting activities, opportunity development and forecasting, data updates, and accuracy in the CRM system
• Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-3+ years of sales experience in any industry (we’ll teach you digital marketing, but we need someone who knows how to sell)
• Proven ability to close deals and consistently hit or exceed sales targets
• Basic understanding of digital marketing is helpful but not required. We’ll teach you our space
• Great personality and charisma, you can connect with anyone and aren’t afraid to be yourself
• Hungry and driven, you’re not satisfied with “good enough”
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where you thrive on urgency and winning
• Excellent communication skills, you know how to ask the right questions, listen, and articulate value
• As part of a diverse team, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A degree or diploma that contributes to the organization or role is considered an asset
• Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset. WORK ENVIRONMENT

We are searching for an Account Executive to join our team on a full-time basis.

This is a fully remote position, and the successful individual could be based anywhere in Canada.

You will work with an amazing remote team servicing and building relationships with clients based in the US and Canada.

In collaboration with the Sales team and all departments, the Account Executive is responsible for the success of Wishpond Technologies Ltd.

• Introduce Wishpond’s solutions to business owners in your assigned territory and take full accountability for managing all phases of the sales cycle from prospecting, discovery, and demo to close
• Work closely with the marketing, partner success, and account management departments to learn about the product and the value we offer to existing and prospective clients
• Build a pipeline through successful outbound calls, email communications, and events.
• Meeting and exceeding sales quotas and metrics
• Proactively and diligently maintain up-to-date knowledge of marketing initiatives and leverage them in all sales cycle opportunities
• Act as the evangelist of not only Wishpond products and services but also of the overall brand and reputation of the Company
• Maintain credible, trusted relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, prospective and existing customers
• Working collaboratively with account management to ensure the successful onboarding of new customers
• Weekly accountability for reporting activities, opportunity development and forecasting, data updates, and accuracy in the CRM system
• Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years of sales experience, preferably within marketing and a SaaS-oriented operation
• Strong track record of meeting sales objectives such as quota and productivity requirements
• Understanding of digital marketing industry is an asset; and if you have used our product that’s even better!
• Strong relationship-management skills
• A degree or diploma that contributes to the organization or role is considered an asset
• Must be detail-oriented, creative and have a passion for helping others achieve their goals
• Self-motivated with the ability to establish and maintain solid relationships through a client-first mentality
• As part of a diverse team, ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Must be technical, analytical, and have the ability to manage complex projects seamlessly
• Organized, administratively strong, great time management, and have solid writing, phone, and general communication skills
• Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset
