Job Overview
- A Salad Maker (or Prep/Commis Chef) is a culinary professional specializing in the assembly and preparation of fresh, cold food items.
- Responsible for crafting visually appealing salads, managing inventory of fresh produce, and maintaining strict food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, and slice vegetables, fruits, and proteins. Prepare signature salad dressings, cold plates, and garnishes.
- Plating & Presentation: Assemble ingredients creatively to ensure visually stunning and appetizing dishes.
- Food Safety & Sanitation: Adhere strictly to hazard control protocols. Prevent cross contamination, properly store perishables, and sanitize workstations.
- Inventory & Stock: Monitor raw ingredient levels, rotate stock (FIFO), and report shortages or expiring produce.
Compensation
- Pay: AED3,000.00 AED3,200.00 per hour
