As a Salad Chef , you'll be responsible for preparing, presenting and maintaining a fresh, high-quality salad bar while working alongside the Chef de Partie to deliver an excellent food offering.

You will:

Prepare and replenish fresh salads, fruits, vegetables and other cold food items to the highest standards.

Ensure the salad bar is fully stocked, attractively presented and maintained throughout service.

Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency and minimise food waste.

Monitor food quality, freshness and stock levels, rotating products in line with food safety procedures.

Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work area, ensuring all equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored correctly.

Adhere to all Food Safety, HACCP, COSHH and Health & Safety procedures, reporting any issues or incidents promptly.

Carry out daily temperature checks and complete all required food safety records accurately.

Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues in line with company procedures.

Support the wider kitchen team as required to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Provide friendly and helpful service to customers when required, with a good knowledge of the food offering.
