Responsibilities:
- Conducts qualitative and quantitative analysis of high-risk/criticized or distressed commercial clients for Special Assets Group Portfolio Officers
- Supports adversarial collection actions such as litigation, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and receiverships
- Adheres to bank policies and regulatory standards contributing to compliance initiatives
- Supports the asset quality process of the portfolio through effective risk management practices and periodic portfolio reviews
- Assists with maintaining and establishing collaborative partnerships with stakeholders
- Desired Qualifications
- Experience analyzing commercial borrowers, preparing credit underwriting packages, or supporting portfolio management activities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including experience building, maintaining, and analyzing financial models.
- Understanding of commercial workout, restructuring, special assets, or distressed credit management.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to collaborate with business partners across Risk, Legal, Operations, and other support functions.
- Self-motivated learner with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
- Knowledge of commercial banking regulations, credit policies, and risk management practices.
- Completion of relevant banking, accounting, or credit training programs, internships, or certifications.
