Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain project HSE plans, policies, and procedures in compliance with ADNOC requirements
- Lead the implementation of HSE management systems across all project phases
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, UAE legal requirements, and client specific safety regulations
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Monitor safety performance and prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports, statistics, and KPI dashboards
- Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and awareness programs to promote a proactive safety culture
- Review and approve Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RA), and Permit to Work documentation
- Coordinate with project management, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters
- Mentor and supervise HSE engineers, officers, and site safety personnel
- Ensure emergency response plans are implemented, tested, and updated as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline
- Minimum 10–15 years of HSE experience, including significant experience in Oil & Gas or EPC projects
- Mandatory experience on ADNOC projects
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC HSE standards, UAE regulations, and international safety management systems
- Experience in managing HSE activities for large scale construction, commissioning, or maintenance projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and incident investigation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting systems
