Safety Engineer

1.Responsible for site HSE management in compliance with ADNOC and local regulations.

2.Develop and implement HSE procedures and plans.

3.Supervise and control high-risk activities on site.

4.Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.

5.Conduct HSE training, toolbox talks, and emergency drills .

6.Participate in incident investigations and ensure corrective actions .

7.Prepare HSE reports (daily, weekly, monthly) .

8.Coordinate with ADNOC, consultants, and subcontractors .

9.Review and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) system .

10.Perform other tasks assigned by management .

11.Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety related field.

12.Background in HSE or engineering discipline.

13.Minimum 8 years of management experience in large-scale international petrochemical or chemical construction projects.

14.Strong knowledge and practical experience with IOC HSE systems (ADNOC, Shell, BP, Aramco).

15.Familiar with full lifecycle HSE risk management .

16.Strong capability in hazard identification and risk assessment .

17.Good knowledge of process safety and strong documentation skills .

18.Extensive experience in incident investigation and reporting .

19.Familiar with Middle East HSE regulations and ADNOC/Aramco requirements .

20.Experienced in managing high-risk construction activities .

21.Proficient in HSE management systems and reporting tools.

22.Strong leadership and influencing skills.

23.Able to independently lead meetings, training, and drills.

24.Strong coordination and teamwork skills.

25.Ability to work under pressure and resolve complex issues.

26.Responsible with strong execution capability.

27.Holds internationally recognized HSE certifications (NEBOSH, CSP, etc.)

28.Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills29.ADNOC approval is preferred.
