SUMMARY
Lead Corporate Safety Initiative.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete and track machine certifications
- Inspect and perform trainings on safety equipment
- Conduct safety audits
- Assist with implementation of safety program improvements
- Lead respiratory protection program (trainings and scheduling fit testing)
- Schedule CPR certification classes
- Schedule and execute safety drills
- Lead Safety Committee
- Lead safety training for new hires
- Enforce safety program
- Ensure safety program is compliant with OSHA and other regulatory guidelines as applicable
- Assist with workplace accident investigations
- Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work
- environment.
- Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization
- (AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversite of safety committee including safety officers.
