- Be responsible for implementing components of the safety program.
- Train personnel through materials, equipment and environments with the goal of achieving safety effectiveness throughout the company.
- Able to ensure all accidents/incidents are promptly reported and investigated.
- Able to report all training programs as appropriate.
- Keep the owner and their agents informed on all relevant issues.
- Manage and maintain safety and housekeeping procedures.
- Support the superintendents in pre-construction notifications and documentation.
- Assist with new hires' orientations and Coordinate/conduct Quarterly safety meetings.
- Collect and submit all documentation related to personal injury and property accidents.
- Maintain all records for vehicles and equipment (insurance, DMV, etc.).
- 2-4 years of safety experience.
- A strong understanding of OSHA and safety regulations.
- Workers' Compensation claim management experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
- Must have the ability to interface with other Arrow Construction personnel, customers and vendors in potentially confrontational issues with diplomacy and professionalism.
