About the Role

Responsibilities
- Assist the Safety Officer in promoting and maintaining workplace health and safety standards
- Help identify hazards at the workplace and support in implementing preventive measures
- Check whether workers are using helmets, gloves, safety shoes, and other protective equipment correctly
- Support in organizing and delivering basic safety awareness sessions for workers
- Observe site activities and report non compliance or unsafe practices to the Safety Officer
- Help record accidents, near miss incidents, and safety observations
- Support in stopping unsafe practices and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines
- Help update inspection logs, attendance for training, and incident reports
Requirements
- Basic understanding of occupational health and safety practices
- Knowledge of PPE and site safety procedures
- Ability to observe and report hazards effectively
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in construction/site environment
- Safety related certification is an advantage
- 1–2 years of site experience preferred
