Ruwad is a structured 12-month engineering development program at DP World’s Jebel Ali Port.
The program is building an engineering graduate pool ahead of a future intake.
Participants may work across Engineering and Asset Management teams in a major container port environment.
About Jebel Ali Port
Jebel Ali Port is a major global container port with automation, AI systems, digital tracking, IoT integration, and large-scale terminal equipment.
Engineering activities support quay cranes, automated stacking yards, berths, infrastructure, and port operations.
What You’ll Learn and Do
- Train in equipment maintenance for quay cranes, RTGs, straddle carriers, and yard equipment.
- Analyse breakdowns, identify root causes, and support reliability engineering.
- Build and refine preventive maintenance schedules.
- Support civil works, berth upgrades, and terminal expansion.
- Gain exposure to PLCs, sensors, automation, and control systems.
- Support inspections, asset integrity, and HSE standards.
- Use CMMS and technical systems for maintenance data.
- Collaborate with Operations, HSE, Procurement, contractors, and vendors.
