Role Overview
Join AMD's Adaptive and Embedded Computing Group as a member of the front-end design team.
Work with architecture, IP design, physical design, and product engineering teams to support first-pass silicon success.
The role focuses on modern processor architecture, RTL coding, and digital design.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of blocks that meet functional, timing, area, and power requirements.
- Guide and review verification activities for assigned blocks.
- Design and implement logic functions that enable efficient test and debug.
- Implement automation to improve design team efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across different sites and time zones.
Preferred Experience
- Strong front-end RTL engineering background.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex problems to executives and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including behavioral analysis and experiment design.
- Experience with Arm architecture and APB, AXI, or CHI protocols.
- Experience with design reuse, including RTL, constraints, and waivers.
