The successful candidate will combine royalty accounting, financial analysis, contract interpretation, licensing operations, and stakeholder management.

The organization manages intellectual property, licensing relationships, commercial agreements, and revenue-generating partnerships across multiple markets.
Teams collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Legal, Intellectual Property, Licensing, Business Development, Sales, Product, Technology, Audit, and Executive Leadership.
Royalty Management Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive royalty-management framework.
- Establish policies, processes, controls, and governance for royalty administration.
- Ensure royalty activities align with licensing agreements and financial policies.
- Develop standards for reporting, reconciliation, collection, forecasting, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities to improve royalty accuracy, timeliness, transparency, and efficiency.
- Manage royalty calculations, licensee reporting, revenue reconciliation, payment tracking, forecasting, audits, and reporting.
Experience and Capabilities
- Experience in Royalty Management, Licensing Operations, Revenue Accounting, IP Licensing, Contract Management, Financial Analysis, Commercial Finance, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience managing royalty administration or licensing-related financial operations.
- Strong understanding of royalty calculations, licensing economics, revenue recognition, and financial controls.
- Experience interpreting license agreements and handling reporting, reconciliations, accruals, collections, forecasting, and compliance reviews.
- Experience with minimum guarantees, milestones, tiered royalties, revenue shares, and other licensing structures.
- Strong Excel and financial-modeling capabilities.
- Experience with ERP, contract-management, royalty-management, CRM, or financial systems.
- Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple licensees, agreements, reporting cycles, audits, reconciliations, and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote and internationally distributed environment.
Tools and Languages
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms is advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
- Arabic language skills are advantageous for UAE and GCC environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- International, multi-currency, or multi-jurisdiction royalty portfolio experience is highly advantageous.
- Experience in royalty-intensive industries such as IP, technology, software, entertainment, publishing, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, sports, or media is advantageous.
- Royalty audit and recovery experience is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with IP licensing and contract law is advantageous.
- Experience supporting licensing negotiations is advantageous.
- Experience with automation, data analytics, or royalty-management technology is highly advantageous.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related field is highly advantageous.
- ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification is advantageous.
