The assignment supports a major oil and gas operator.
Role Overview
The position is a Rotating Equipment Engineering Specialist on a long-term contract.
The role is based at an onshore Qatar site in Ras Laffan.
The expected start is ASAP, typically within one month of notice.
Working Schedule
- The schedule is 5 days per week and 8 to 10 hours per day, or as required by the project.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Provide rotating equipment engineering support across design reviews, studies, commissioning, start-up, failure analysis, troubleshooting, punch-list work, warranty claims, and Management of Change.
- Develop surveillance and administration programs for critical rotating equipment on new projects.
- Support reliability, availability, and cyber security standards.
- Define best practices and recommend performance improvements.
- Develop work plans and schedules to meet section and division KPIs.
