Responsibilities
- Keep up-to-date and accurate registers for rope access equipment, lifting gear, anemometers, and related items, using the applicable system (including Papertrail).
- Manage equipment traceability by maintaining certification and inspection records, and ensuring they are always current.
- Enter and update data in the equipment management system on time and without errors.
- Organise, file, and control all equipment documentation (hard copy and electronic).
- Prepare and issue equipment documentation as required (certificates, inspection records, kit records for gear kits, rescue kits, ropes, and common equipment).
- Track inspection due dates/status and ensure equipment records can be produced quickly when requested.
- Keep all equipment documentation complete, audit-ready, and compliant with IRATA requirements, local regulations, and internal procedures.
- Liaise with the warehouse on stock checks/counts and reconciliation of records. Coordinate with site teams/supervisors to confirm deployed equipment is compliant and supported by valid records.
- Provide projects with document control / equipment record support when required.
- Handle documentation related to EIAC third-party inspection and certification (accredited scope).
- Support collection, compilation, and submission of rope access work and safety statistics, including quarterly IRATA statistics when required.
- Support IRATA-related correspondence as directed.
- Provide general admin support to Operations & HSE related to equipment records and compliance.
Competencies And Requirements
- Good written and spoken English.
- High attention to detail; accurate and consistent in records.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good time management and organisation.
- Confident with document control systems and electronic registers.
