Rolling Mill Operator Qualifications

• 1. High School diploma or equivalent is required 2. Previous experience with heavy metals or similar type of manufacturing required. 3. Ability to work with calipers, micrometers, and other types of testing equipment required 4. Ability to work under pressure with high stress levels required. 5. Maintain production schedule 6. Monitor material quality, including flatness, gauge, hardness, grain size, and surface finish 7. Must be able to learn and safely operate an overhead crane, forklift, and pallet Jacks. (motorized and manual.) 8. Willing to work on short notice, volunteer overtime, and/or required overtime as needed. 9. Ensure proper identification of coils and samples
