- Design and execute structured evaluation protocols for robotic hardware and embedded software, including sensor accuracy, actuator responsiveness, and power efficiency
- Conduct failure mode analysis under simulated operational stresses such as temperature extremes, vibration, and electromagnetic interference
- Document quantitative performance metrics and compare results against established benchmarks or industry standards
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to translate evaluation findings into actionable recommendations for firmware or mechanical design improvements
- Maintain compliance with relevant safety and regulatory frameworks during all testing procedures
Requirements
- Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on control systems and sensors
- Minimum of 3 years of hands on experience evaluating robotic platforms, including both simulation and physical testing
- Proficiency in Python or C++ for test automation and data logging, with experience using ROS or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with calibration procedures for inertial measurement units, LiDAR, and motor controllers in robotic systems
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sensor data, detect anomalies, and produce clear technical reports
