Location: San Diego, CA Worksite: EOD Mobile Unit (EODMU) 1 (NB Point Loma), EODMU 3 (NAB Coronado), EODMU 9 (NAB Coronado), EODMU 11 (NOLF Imperial Beach)
Travel: No travel and no tele-work
Status: Fulltime
Clearance: Access to classified information not required
Job Summary
The Robotic Systems Engineering Technician supports U.S.
Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) forces by providing Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance on government-owned Remote Operated Vehicles (ROV); training for ROV operators; and, management of logistics support functions that enable maintenance and training services.
Duties And Responsibilities
· Perform corrective maintenance and repairs on ROV systems utilized by Navy EOD forces by troubleshooting, replacing components, and performing operational tests.
· Perform preventative maintenance on ROVs in accordance with the Navy Maintenance & Material Management (3M) Program.
· Perform operational/functional testing of ROVs per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines.
