Job Responsibilities
- Conduct real-vehicle road testing for L4 Robotaxi and closed-site license-plate examination testing, including L4, L2++, PIPO, MRM, and Robotaxi business logic features.
- Participate in test planning, schedules, routes, ADAS vehicle-side functional validation, automated test dashboards, and subjective following-distance evaluations.
- Establish and maintain the L4 Robotaxi test-scenario library and update it using real test data, development requirements, and user scenarios.
- Establish L4 Robotaxi test standards and release processes for manned-to-unmanned transitions and ODD releases based on points, routes, and road segments.
- Manage ADAS test projects, including data management, test organization, implementation, data collection, evaluation, and training.
- Build Robotaxi test-toolchain capabilities by defining requirements for data collection, data backhaul, automated dashboards, and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- At least 6 years of ADAS functional road-testing experience.
- English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills are required.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Vehicle Engineering, Communication Engineering, Automotive Electronics, or a related field.
- The source specifies 5–10 years of autonomous-driving ADAS road-testing experience and at least 3 years with a Tier 1 supplier or OEM.
- Strong understanding of autonomous-driving architecture, vehicle architecture, chassis structures, and common autonomous-driving sensors.
- Proficiency in autonomous-driving test methodologies and ability to independently build test plans and evaluation systems.
- Familiarity with domestic and European Union autonomous-driving regulations and standards.
- Familiarity with tools that capture CAN, LIN, and Ethernet signal data.
- C1 driver's license or above, proficient driving skills, and good safety awareness.
- Clear thinking, team communication, collaboration, and a strong product and user-value orientation.
Work Location
- The role is based in Abu Dhabi and includes business travel to neighboring countries and cities.
