Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including staffing, scheduling, and patient care planning
• Develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor and report on patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and share best practices with the team
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the nursing staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
• Develop and manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient and effective operations

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with prior management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the nursing staff
• Excellent clinical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
