Marshalltown Hospital Department: Nursing Administration Shift/Schedule: Part Time | 24 hours per week Days
Join Marshalltown Hospital as a Float Registered Nurse and bring your skills to nursing teams throughout the hospital.
In this flexible, team-oriented role, you’ll provide compassionate care across assigned units while gaining experience with a variety of patients and clinical settings.
You’ll collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver safe, individualized care that supports positive patient outcomes and continuity of care.

- Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care across assigned units
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to coordinate care
- Provide education based on each patient’s needs and readiness to learn
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes
- Maintain timely, accurate, and complete patient documentation
- Delegate care appropriately and guide other healthcare team members
- Connect patients and families with resources that support continued care
- Promote patient and workplace safety through infection prevention and proactive reporting
- Participate in ongoing learning and professional development
Education
- Associates Degree in Nursing
License(S) And Credential(S)
- Current license in the state of Iowa or meets criteria established by Iowa Board of Nursing.
