BayCare Health System is hiring a Risk Specialist to support risk managers in loss reduction efforts through event investigation, medical record review, and team member interviews.

Responsibilities
- Support risk managers in loss reduction efforts by investigating and analyzing events and trends
- Assist in communication and education of team members
- Assist in risk management activities, claims management, extensive medical record review, team member and physician interviews, Root Cause Analysis/Quality Practice Review process
- Demonstrate competencies required by Florida within 2 years of hire
Requirements
- 2 years clinical nursing experience
- Bachelor's in related field or Juris Doctor
- RN (Registered Nurse) or Attorney license
- Level II screening through Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse

- Supports the risk managers in loss reduction efforts by investigating and analyzing events and trends
- Assists in the communication and education of team members.

- Through education and/or experience, the Risk Specialist will demonstrate competencies required by Florida within 2 years of hire.
