Your Mission
Join this Defence project providing Risk Expertise through a Joint Project Team delivering an infrastructure programme.
We’re seeking a Risk Manager to lead risk identification, analysis, and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting to the Programme Delivery Lead , you’ll work across our clients site, and industry partners to manage risks in a complex, fast-paced environment.
You’ll need strong project delivery and risk management skills, with experience handling major infrastructure projects and navigating multiple stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
✅ Lead the delivery of the risk management process , roadmap, and Target Operating Model (TOM) ✅ Facilitate monthly risk reviews , workshops, and maintain risk registers & dashboards 📊 ✅ Support Quantitative Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis (QCRA/QSRA) and quarterly reporting 💸⏱️ ✅ Manage project assumptions and maintain the Master Data & Assumptions List (MDAL) 📚 ✅ Track mitigation plans and ensure risk actions are delivered 🔎 ✅ Collaborate with project leads, suppliers, and partners to manage risks, avoid duplication, and drive delivery ✅ Monitor supply chain performance and flag emerging issues early 🚀 ✅ Ensure compliance with client processes and infrastructure requirements 🛠️
Essential Requirements
- ✔️ SC Clearance held and available to work on client site 3 days/week 🛡️ ✔️ Strong knowledge of risk processes and management ✔️ Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and see the bigger risk picture 🔎 ✔️ Experience in infrastructure risk analysis ✔️ Strong leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills 🤝 ✔️ Proficient IT skills 💻
Desirable
⭐ Industry knowledge, including competitors/adversaries ⭐ Confident communicator at executive level 🎤 ⭐ Agile, adaptable, and responsive to change 🔄 ⭐ Experience managing risk in complex, live operational environments ⭐ Collaborative team player across multi-agency teams
