Role Description
- This is a part time, on site Risk Manager role based in Dubai. The Risk Manager will identify, assess, and prioritize operational, financial, legal, and strategic risks across client engagements and internal projects.
Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments, develop and maintain risk registers, and propose mitigation plans that align with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership and functional teams to embed risk management practices into policies, procedures, and business decisions.
- Support the development of risk related training and awareness initiatives.
- Monitor key risk indicators, prepare clear risk reports and presentations, and recommend improvements to internal controls and governance frameworks.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in risk assessment, risk analysis, and development of risk registers and mitigation plans.
- Experience with internal controls, compliance monitoring, and regulatory or policy review.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including data interpretation and scenario analysis.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation abilities for both technical and non technical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and influence stakeholders at different levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CRM, FRM, CIA) are an advantage.
- Experience in consulting, HR services, or in the GCC region is preferred.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a part time, on site setting.
