About the Role
DMR Elite is looking for a Risk Management Service (RMS) Specialist to oversee and mitigate trading risks across Equity Derivatives (FnO) and Commodity (MCX/COMEX) desks. Responsibilities
- Monitor real time client trading positions, exposures, and mark to market (MTM) losses across NSE/BSE FnO, MCX, and COMEX
- Initiate timely margin calls and execute hard risk actions such as freezing accounts, reducing exposures, or handling auto square offs
- Manage Beginning of Day (BOD) and End of Day (EOD) risk operations, including setting trading limits and verifying client margin balances
- Monitor and ensure compliance with exchange margin frameworks (SPAN, Exposure, Peak Margin, EOD Margins)
- Assess and value client collaterals after applying appropriate haircuts
- Identify and report intraday and overnight margin shortfalls to dealing/business teams
- Dynamically adjust trading limits and margin multipliers during high volatility market events
- Maintain and update restricted trading lists, including stocks in FnO ban period and high risk contracts
Requirements
- Experience in risk management for Equity Derivatives (FnO) and Commodity (MCX/COMEX) desks

Key Responsibilities
- Real Time Risk & Position Monitoring: Monitor real time client trading positions, exposures, and mark to market (MTM) losses across NSE/BSE FnO, MCX, and international commodity movements via COMEX.
- Risk Mitigation & De risking: Initiate timely margin calls and execute hard risk actions—such as freezing accounts, reducing exposures, or handling auto square offs of leveraged positions when MTM losses hit predefined risk thresholds.
- BOD & EOD Operations: Manage Beginning of Day (BOD) and End of Day (EOD) risk operations, including setting trading limits, uploading exchange files, and verifying client margin balances before market opening.
- Exchange Compliance: Monitor and ensure absolute compliance with exchange margin frameworks (SPAN, Exposure, Peak Margin, and EOD Margins).
- Collateral Valuation: Assess and value client collaterals (shares, mutual funds, liquid funds) after applying appropriate haircuts according to internal and exchange rules.
- Shortfall Reporting: Identify and report intraday and overnight margin shortfalls to the dealing/business teams to prevent exchange level penalties.
- Event Handling: Dynamically adjust trading limits and margin multipliers during high volatility market events, corporate actions, or major macroeconomic data releases (e.g., US Fed updates affecting COMEX, inventory reports for MCX).
- Restricted Baskets: Maintain and update restricted trading lists, including stocks in the FnO ban period, illiquid options contracts, and high risk commodity contracts.
Compensation
- Pay: AED 8,000 AED 12,000 per month
