Responsibilities
- Check loads to be moved, estimate size, shape, weight and center of gravity, ensure loads do not exceed lifting capacities of cranes
- Attach lifting devices to hoisting equipment and items to be moved using clamps, hooks, bolts, and knots
- Select proper slings, lifting gears and other grappling devices, cover sharp corners with padding to prevent damage to slings
- Alert for people or objects in path of load; use hand signals, whistles or two way radios when load is not visible to operators
- Guide loads into position as they are lowered
- Lift and shift heavy equipment, large pipes, control valves with cranes up to 500T
Requirements
- Secondary (12 years) certificate; preferably ITI certificate
- 7 years relevant hands on experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industry
- Valid Rigging certificate from competent and certified agency

Job Description

- Role: Rigging Supervisor (CRIG08 Rigger II Lead)
